A: Why is the official guidance to entirely detach fall protective gear before moving from a mechanically elevated platform to a tower? My assumption here is that if you are connected to both the tower and the cherry picker, you have in effect connected the tower to the cherry picker, and were the hydraulics on the cherry picker to fail that would compress the harness into you with no way to get it off. How difficult is it to cut down a 22lr barrel liner? I am looking at buying a 22lr barrel liner, but the ones I have found online are longer than I want by about 6 inches. Where was this picture of the source of the Middle Fork of the San Joaquin river taken? In 1892-1896 Theodore Solomons took this picture of the in the Sierra Nevada mountains. That would put it on the east side of the Ritter Range and likely south of Mt Ritter. Does anyone recognize the location? (more) |

Downvoting old questions just because they are old needs to stop It has not gone unnoticed that someone(s) have been downvoting imported questions as soon as they hit the front page regardless of whether they are good or bad questions otherwise.
