Question | — |
Are there ice-skates that will strap to a full shank mountaineering boot? I was hiking through the snow to a frozen alpine lake and it made me wonder if there were ice-skates that would strap directly to a mountaineering boot instead of being a completely separate boot? Seem like that would be lighter and is how ice-skates used to be made, are there any modern versions?... (more) |

A: Stop bumping old imported posts with no-change edits No. The point of this site is to build a resource for future visitors, not to generate interesting questions for people to answer. Question | — |
Is there a reason for the seemingly over labeling gear in the UK with "unisex" ? From this question and it's answers it looks like a lot of gear sold online in UK is label as "unisex" when it wouldn't be in the United State. For some gear like climbing harness labeling a harness as unisex makes sense, but for something like a cooking set or a rubber mallet or duffle bag, it's ... (more) |
