How long does canned chicken repackaged into a ziplock last?
Rather than take a can of chicken while backpacking, it's possible to open the can, drain the juice and stick the meat into a ziplock which makes it much lighter and a ziplock is much more compact than a squashed can. It does need to be eaten fairly quickly into the trip to avoid spoiling.
How long is the chicken still good before it spoils?

Actually you might want to keep the chicken in the can, and you probably do not want to cook fresh chicken at home and bring it with you.
The USDA recommends that cooked chicken at room temperature be eaten with in 2 hours, 1 hour if it is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32C).
You could potentially freeze the cooked chicken, and let it defrost on the trail as you walk. BUT defrosting at room temperature is not recommend.
TLDR: 2 hours max.
