Question | — |
To leaf peep in Adirondack Park, how many Scenic ViewPoints can you drive up to? My octogenarian grandma needs walking aids. She's physically unable to hike or rove. But she still pines to leaf peep — known in Japanese as momijigari (紅葉狩) — while seated in the car. Thus we are thinking of renting a family van, and driving my grandparents into parks with fall foliage. 1. How d... (more) |

A: Is this outdoor fireplace located in the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club, Wyoming? This picture appears to be a private home at 2520 Trader Road, Gros Ventre North subdivision, West Gros Ventre Butte. The approximate coordinate is 43.51N, -110.8W. The architect's website has more pictures. I was wrong that this is a golf course. (more) |

Question | — |
Where can you safely park beside these houses at Kalamalka Lake, BC? Unquestionably, the top picture below was taken further south than Kalamaka Lakeview Drive Lookout. I spent an hour looking on Google Maps, and the most similar picture is from High Ridge Road. But I see nowhere safe to park! Image alt text Eugen Kedl, Canada in a thousand pictures 1999,...
