What do the 'delete' and 'close' options I see under a question do?
What do the 'delete' and 'close' options I see under a question do? I am a normal user with ~1700 rep. I see a delete button under questions and answers (if I wrote them or not). When I mouse over it turns red and gets bigger. I see a close button under questions and answers (if I wrote them or not). When I mouse over it stays grey but gets bigger. What happens if I click one? Are these voting buttons or will clicking them complete the action even if I am not a moderator?
