A: Are there particular grades that indoor climbers often struggle with I can't speak specifically to "indoor climbers", but i've definitely witnessed some fairly common overall plateaus, and experienced a few myself with regards to outdoor climbing. A: Is it poor etiquette to ask fellow backpackers where they have been/where they are going? It isn't poor etiquette per se, however one should remember that many people who are out on an adventure are doing so to get away from people, and for a lot of people, it can be rather annoying and intrusive to get "talked up" by every person who passes.
