Is "scat" used to describe the droppings of any animal? I understand that when you see animal droppings in the wilderness, it's referred to as "scat." I have heard scat referred to when referencing bear, coyote and mountain lion droppings. Is this the case for all animals? For example, would you refer to pig or chicken droppings as "scat"? (more) |

A: Does freezing cut bait affect its attractiveness to fish? YES. Freezing any type of bait definitely makes it less attractive to fish. Freezing depletes the bait of it's scent and essential oils that attract fish. The scent and oils are still there, but they are dilluted during the thawing process.
