I have a 2012 Custom that has given me no problems. I think normal maintenance is all it takes. Be sure to put it away dry and clean. Store properly in the off season and you should have no problems. The most important advice is get a good quality 6-person tent. You don't want to deal with leaks and broken poles with 2 young kids while camping. Answer A: Is an emergency blanket effective as a ground sheet?
You can in a pinch, but not what it is made for. Won't last very long at all and will make a ton of noise. Get a piece of Tyvek and cut it to size. Cheap, light and durable. Can't beat it.

Question Winter Slackline solutions
We recently purchased a slackline to take on family camping trips. Does anyone have a good do it yourself indoor solution for the winter? How can I tell if the poles in my basement can support a slackline?
