Answer A: Climbing at the Skytop area of the Gunks
I read the "Rock Climbing at Sky Top - Rates and Policies" and the informations on TheCrag about this area. As TheCrag states: Sky Top has many classic routes, and was closed for over ten years by the landowner (the Mohonk Mountain House, an exclusive and expensive resort). As of April 2007 climb...

Answer A: Light-weight emergency overnight-gear
I think anaheim brought up a lot of good points, but I would choose a super light biwi bag that is able to keep you dry whether the humidity comes from the inside (sweat) or the outside (rain). If I take an insulation mat with me depends on existing possibilities to use it. If there are no pedestals ...

Answer A: Identifying named peaks from the summit of a north-american peak
Maybe you will find the PeakFinder applications for iOS helpful. There is another app that works with augmented reality. Check peaks-app.ch. Let us now if one of the apps helped. I recently used the SwissPeaks application and found it helpful. But without internet connection you're lost.
