I also find my folding knifes get full of gunk and I am a little bit afraid I am going to poison myself. </p> <ul> <li><p>What should I look for when buying a fixed blade knife?</p></li> <li><p>What materials are the best?</p></li> <li><p>What is the ideal length?</p></li> <li><p>What kind of sheath should I look for? </p></li> </ul> <p>I am in Canada so if anyone has any specific recommendations on where to get a good knife that would be helpful too.</p>
