<p>I'm curious what the differences are between alpaca wool and merino wool. Say for hiking in hot weather and cold weather, using socks and base layers.</p> <p>I'm especially interested in the durability of Alpaca vs Merino. My gut says Merino will withstand heavy outdoor use better, anyone know for certain if this is correct?</p>
