How can I get oil out of my MTB disc brake pads?

I went to get something on my mountain bike checked out at the bike shop, and at the same time they told me that my brake pads were absorbing oil.

Short of replacing the disc brake pads, is there any way I can remove oil from the pads without ruining them? I replaced them not too long ago, so I'd like to avoid replacing them right now.

The brakes currently are fairly squeaky, but still lock the wheel up enough to do a stoppie. Doing more modulated braking isn't as effective as I'm used to, though.

Is there any way I can get the oil of the pads in a non-destructive manner?

This guy knows what he is talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXQxLK6z5WA There's also some hints in the video where oil might be coming from.

To summarize, use isopropyl or the specialized WD40 brake cleaner spray. You likely have to disassemble the breaks in order to clean them proper.

Using the normal degreaser chemicals for cleaning the chain etc is a no-go, they often have an explicit warning text "keep clear of brake pads".
