Q&A Please ID this indoor plant — with big green leaves — that shrivelled up in Guangzhou China?

Pls see 2 pictures below. Left pic — plant when I bought it from store in Guangzhou, China. Plant is still in Guangzhou where I live. Right pic — plant now, wilted and withered.
