- As time has gone by this has become less and less of a problem as Picatinny rails have become the standard, not just for mounting scopes but also bipods and other attachments to rifles.
- At one point Ruger was making their own type of rails for some rifles, but after enough complaints, they changed to Picatinny because the proprietary rails wouldn't fit all scope mounts.
The bottom line is that** you are looking for Picatinny rails** to attach to, and then **either Weaver or Picatinny scope rings.**
