How long after a fire will the majority of the dead trees fall over?
There are several higher altitude forested areas that I go hiking that have burned this summer and I am wondering about how they will be next summer.

Dead trees falling on you is always a concern when camping and there will be lots more in those areas once the fire is out.

How long on average will it take for most of the dead trees to fall over on their own so being crushed is less of a concern?
