Is there an app that will calculate the speed of sound at my current location and temperature?

+1
−0

The speed of sound changes with the weather, ammunition that is subsonic on a warm day may not be when its below freezing and that will make it a lot louder and less accurate. Bullets tends to destabilize when they slowdown below the speed of sound and the sonic boom is a large part of the noise of a gun shot.

The solution is to use slower ammunition when it gets colder, but slower ammunition can also be less accurate or more expensive.

There are apps that will calculate bullet velocity for the current weather and how much the Coriolis effect will change a bullets path, is there one for calculating the current speed of sound?
